EDUC 330 Reading in El I

The first day of this class, my teacher asked me to write an essay on how children learn to read. I tried my hardest and initially I thought, well they learn to read best by exposure. As the class progressed, I learned that to teach a child to read you must provide a variety of reading methods. My instructor had AMAZING information and I learned so much from her! I had the opportunity to create many reading lesson plans and present them to the class and also to a practicum class. I was also expected to observe all of the different reading methods in a classroom throughout the semester.
